What is Reddit?
Reddit is an online community where users share opinions, create topics and post content on specific topics. Discussions are governed by rules that are established by community members, referred to as subreddits. Users can create and post posts to specific topics ranging from questions, requests for help and informative news articles to images and videos. Reddit users can also make contributions and discuss controversial topics. There are some rules for users to follow while posting in Reddit, including netiquette and page guidelines.
A user may post images, videos, links, or text only in the discussion boards. The subreddits are divided into categories and are maintained by moderators. A new user can subscribe to a specific subreddit or customize the front page to view only posts related to his or her interests. Typically, a person can subscribe to one subreddit for free. If you're not into subscriptions, however, you can create an account for premium access to the community and receive more features and exclusive content.
The community is made up of thousands of communities, each with their own subreddits. Users can vote on posts and comments, and can subscribe to their favorite subreddits to receive a socially curated stream of content. Users can learn about new Xbox deals, talk about Fortnite strategy, or see what's trending on the internet. Reddit has something for everyone and can be a great place to find information about your interests.
